Bareilly: Police detained Maulana Tauqeer Raza in Bareilly, uproar.

Bareilly Ittehat-e-Millat Council (IMC) chief Maulana Tauqeer Raza has been taken into custody by the police after Friday prayers. The police was fully prepared after the announcement of the arrest on Friday. Tauqeer Raza reached the Islamia Inter College grounds after the prayers and announced his arrest. After Maulana’s announcement, the police converted Islamia Maidan into a cantonment. 1400 police personnel including 6 ASP, 12 Deputy SP have been deployed. PAC and RAF have also been deployed. Police say that permission for the program has not been taken. If an attempt is made to spoil the atmosphere by coming on the road, an FIR will be registered. It is noteworthy that Maulana Tauqeer Raza had given a call to ‘fill the jail’ regarding the Gyanvapi case.
