Bareilly: Ganga Fair begins, these trains will have stoppage at Ramganga-Garh Mukteshwar, tickets will be easily available.

Bareilly : Kartik (Ganga) fair will start from 23rd November i.e. today. Its main bath will take place on 27th November. A crowd of lakhs of devotees will gather in it. The police administration and the Railways have made a lot of preparations to ensure that the devotees do not face any kind of problem. Along with this, a large number of police forces have been deployed. Kartik fair will conclude on 30th November. Bathing will take place at the ghat of Ramganga river located on Badaun Road, Bareilly. Railways has made arrangements for additional ticket counters at Ramganga station, Kachla Ghat and Garh Mukteshwar station regarding the fair. So that devotees do not face any problem in getting tickets. Along with this, stoppages of the train have also been decided. There should be no traffic jam in Bareilly. Route diversion has also been done for this.

This train will stop for devotees

Four out of 10 express trains passing through Bareilly regarding Ganga Mela have halted at Garhmukteshwar, Ramganga, Rajghat Haridwar, Rishikesh and Balawali stations. Moradabad Railway Division officials say that 22453/22454 Rajyarani Express, 14021/14311 Ala Hazrat Express, 15909/15910 Guwahati Express, 14207/14208 Padmavat Express, 14205/14206 Ayodhya Cantt Express, passing through Bareilly from 25 to 29 November. 14511/4512 Nauchandi Express, 15127/15128 Kashinath Vishwanath Express, 14315/16 Bareilly Intercity Express have started being stopped at Garhganga station for two minutes each during up-down. Apart from this, 14313 Lokmanya Tilak Express will stop at Bareilly’s Ramganga Bridge station at 2:30 pm, and 14520 Mahakal Express will stop at 11:35 am. These trains will also have a stop at Rajghat Narora. Apart from this, two additional coaches each will be installed in 04370/04375 Bareilly Aligarh Passenger and 04378/04377. This will provide a lot of relief to the passengers. For the convenience of devotees, additional ticket counters will be opened at stations like Ramganga, Kachla Ghat, Narora, Garh Ganga etc. from November 24. Due to which devotees will not have to stand in long queues for tickets.

Contract worth Rs 16.50 lakh for Ramganga fair

The fair starts on 23rd November, the day of Ekadashi. DM Ravindra Kumar has appointed a committee of 13 fair managers to conduct the fair. The contract for the fair has been signed for Rs 16 lakh 50 thousand. DM issued orders and appointed fair managers Amarjeet Singh, Jaiveer Singh, Santosh Singh, Ram Kumar Singh, Yogendra Singh, Sushil Kumar Singh, Raj Bahadur, Ramesh Singh alias Gokil Singh, Pradeep Pandey, Sukhpal Singh, Ranjit Singh, Awadhesh Singh, Instructions have been given to Rajesh that out of the amount of Rs 16.50 lakh to be deposited by all the above mentioned managers for administrative arrangements, 75 percent of the amount should be deposited in the fair account of this office (President Chaubari Mela) in the State Bank of India main branch court before 23rd November. But, the remaining amount will have to be deposited before November 27.

The arrangements given to the managers and the income and expenditure will be monitored at the level of Deputy Fair Magistrate/Tehsildar Sadar, and Fair Magistrate/SDM Sadar. Any adverse fact or any such act came to light against the appointed fair managers. Due to which there is a possibility of breach of peace, then the appointment of fair managers will be cancelled. Along with this, it will also be mandatory to obtain NOC from the provincial section of the Public Works Department for installing swings in the fair in view of public safety. The fair of Ramganga Chaubari has been decorated. Big swings have been installed in the fair. The game of well of death has also taken place in the fair. Cob batte and bamboo products have also arrived. From Tuesday, a tent city also started being established on the sand heap. To ensure that the devotees do not face any problem in the fair area, the provincial section of the Public Works Department is constructing temporary roads.
