Bareilly: Drunk head constable misbehaves with District Panchayat member, video goes viral, know what happened next

A drunken video of a head constable of Banjariya outpost of Shishgarh police station area in Bareilly, UP is going viral on social media very fast. The head constable misbehaved with the area panchayat member. Along with this, there has also been an allegation of assault. Due to which SSP Ghule Sushil Chandrabhan has suspended the accused head constable and ordered a departmental inquiry. According to the complaint of Rajendra, head of Gram Panchayat Banjariya of Shishgarh police station area, the area Panchayat member had gone to the post with Irtaj at 5 pm on Friday evening. There, head constable Amit Kumar, under the influence of alcohol, misbehaved and beat him with sticks. It is alleged that the head constable is very fond of alcohol.

Complaint against head constable has been made before also

Even before this, people had complained about the head constable. The village head complained to the SP Rural and demanded action against the accused head constable. This video was going viral very fast on social media. In this matter, SSP called for a report from Inspector Ravindra Kumar. On the report of Inspector, SSP suspended the head constable. Earlier on November 18, five constables of Amla had created a ruckus after drinking alcohol. This included four constables from Amla and one constable from Bisharatganj. Of these, the medical examination of three constables had confirmed the consumption of alcohol. On November 19, the SSP had suspended five constables in the case of assault under the influence of alcohol.

Action will be taken after departmental investigation

The SSP has also started a departmental inquiry against the accused head constable. Even after its report comes, action will be taken. Even before this, action has been taken against many police personnel.
