Bareilly: Commissioner suspended the accountant who gave fake report regarding Chakroad, heard public problems on Samadhan Diwas

Bareilly: Complete Solution Day was organized under the chairmanship of Commissioner Soumya Agarwal on Saturday in Mirganj tehsil of Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. In this, the Commissioner and IG listened to the public problems and solved them. Along with this, instructions were given to suspend the accountant with immediate effect for giving wrong report of occupation of Chakroad. This created panic among the accountants.

In the last Sampoorna Samadhan Diwas of Mirganj tehsil, complainant Govind Ram had complained about illegal occupation of the road leading to his farm. In this case, the concerned accountant filed a report that after getting the measurement done, the encroachment has been removed from the chakroad. The Commissioner spoke to the complainant over telephone during the Total Solution Day organized on Saturday. In this the complainant said that encroachment has not been removed from Chakroad. Commissioner Soumya Aggarwal took the matter seriously. He directed to suspend the accused accountant with immediate effect for giving wrong report.

The action of the Commissioner created a stir in the entire Samadhan Diwas. During this period, Commissioner and IG Dr. Rakesh Singh heard 20 complaints. There were 10 complaints from the Revenue Department, 2 from the Police Department, 2 from the Development Department, 2 from the Supply Department, 3 from the Public Works Department, and one from the Electricity Department. He resolved a complaint on the spot. The Commissioner heard the complaints of the complainants and directed the concerned officers to resolve them.

Instructed the SDM to jointly send the accountant and the police to the spot to dispose of the complaint applications regarding illegal occupation. SP City Rahul Bhati, SDM Mirganj, Tehsildar and other concerned officers were present in the Sampoorna Samadhan Diwas.

Take care of quality in complaint handling

The Commissioner instructed to take special care of quality while disposing of complaint applications. He said that the quality of disposal should be confirmed by on-site inspection. Along with this, instructions were given to check the quality of disposal by talking to the complainant on telephone. Instructions were given to take strict action against the concerned officers/employees who give wrong information if the disposal is not of good quality.
