A huge banyan tree fell on the official vehicle of a BDO-CO who had gone out to inspect the booth for the Lok Sabha elections. Apart from two officials of Jharkhand Administrative Service, two other government employees and the driver had a narrow escape in this accident. These include BDO Hulas Mahato and CO Parmeshwar Kushwaha, BPO Rakesh Ranjan, Home Guard jawan Rajendra Yadav and government vehicle driver Dinesh Kumar. The vehicle has been completely damaged in the accident.

Meanwhile, his official vehicle was passing next to a platform. A huge years old banyan tree situated in the middle of the platform suddenly fell on the government vehicle of the officials.

Local people took them out of the car
It was fortunate that the BDO-CO sitting on the vehicle, his government guard and the driver of the vehicle escaped unhurt, while Rakesh Roshan, the BPO sitting next to the driver, suffered minor injuries. The sudden incident created an atmosphere of chaos. Local people showed promptness and safely pulled out the vehicle officials and other people from inside the damaged vehicle. On receiving information about the incident, Markachho police also reached the spot and took information about the incident.

Major accident averted
According to the local people, the local people sit every morning and evening on the platform where this incident took place, while children often play here under the shade of the trees. However, after the incident, the local people were seen thanking God for the fact that at the time of the incident, no one from the village was sitting under the tree and children were not even playing there. Otherwise a very big incident could have happened.
