Seeing the children drowning, the people present in the river saved Manish’s 12-year-old daughter Pavni and Ramautar’s 11-year-old daughter Akanksha by pulling them out of the water in time. There was a delay in taking out Ramvishal’s 14-year-old daughter Vijay Lakshmi, her cousin brother, eight-year-old Pushpendra, son of Dinesh, resident of village Arbai, Suryansh, five-year-old son of Lovelesh of Gurgaon and Rakhi, Ramkripal’s 19-year-old daughter, from the water.

The family took the four children to Jaspura CHC, where the doctors declared all of them dead. As soon as the information about the death was received, there was an outcry among the family members. The search for Ramsharan’s seven-year-old son Tanu is still going on in Yamuna river. Police are also taking help of local divers to find the child.
