Ban on hookah in bars, restaurants, hotels in Haryana, Khattar made many big announcements

Chief Minister of Haryana Manohar Lal Khattar on Monday announced a ban on serving hookah to customers in hotels, restaurants, bars and commercial establishments across the state. However, this order will not apply to traditional hookahs used in rural areas.

Haryana government took decision under de-addiction campaign

According to an official statement, Manohar Lal, while addressing the closing ceremony of the state level ‘Cyclothon’ organized under the drug de-addiction campaign in Karnal, announced the ban on hookah in hotels, restaurants, bars and commercial establishments.

Haryana Assembly Speaker Gyan Chand Gupta had demanded a ban on hookah.

This step has been taken a few months ago after Haryana Assembly Speaker Gyan Chand Gupta demanded a ban on serving hookah in hotels, restaurants, pubs, bars and night clubs in the state.

Drug de-addiction campaign in Haryana from 1st to 25th September

De-addiction campaign was conducted in Haryana from 1st to 25th September. In which youth and many people of the state participated. During this, Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar gave the message of better health and appealed to stay away from drug abuse.

Five days leave for 250 cyclists involved in the campaign

Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar made big announcements on the occasion of the end of the de-addiction campaign. He said, all the 250 cyclists involved in this campaign will be given five days leave. CM also said that DGP Saheb will also give a certificate to everyone.
