Baltimore Bridge Collapse: In the early hours of Tuesday, a cargo ship collided with a bridge in Baltimore, USA, due to which the bridge broke and fell into the river below. A total of 8 people fell down in this accident, out of which two people have been taken out safely. At the same time, six people are still missing. Their search continued till late Tuesday evening. Now news is coming out that the rescue operation has been postponed. The reason behind this is said to be that after the temperature of the water and the rescue operation that took place after the accident, the chances of finding the missing people alive are very less.

US President Joe Biden’s statement on this entire incident has also come out. He said in his statement, 8 people went missing after the Baltimore Bridge collapsed, out of which 2 were saved. One of them did not suffer any injury. While the condition of the other is critical. The rescue operation is still going on. Biden further said, ‘The movement of ships in the port of Baltimore is currently closed. Now the first channel will be cleaned after the accident. Only after this will any ship be able to pass through here.
