Ballia woman missing for 24 years found in Bangaon, West Bengal

After 24 years, a missing woman resident of Shivchak Daya Chhapra of Ballia, UP was found in Bangaon of North 24 Parganas district. On Wednesday, the woman’s grandson Sunil Verma left for Ballia with her. This work became possible with the help of ham radio. West Bengal Radio Club (Ham Radio) secretary Ambrish Nag Biswas told that on Wednesday, Parimal Rai, a member of Ham Radio Club and others handed over the woman to her grandson and made her sit on the train after all the legal process. Mr. Vishwas told that in the month of March, the police of Bagda police station had admitted the woman to the local hospital seeing her helpless. Then from there he was sent to Bangaon Hospital. The hospital contacted ham radio.

After a lot of effort, Ham Radio found out that the woman’s house was in Ballia. Then the woman was identified through the people there. Due to the mental condition of the woman’s husband not being well and the children being young during the woman’s disappearance, no one was able to identify them. The woman is also a little mentally ill. But after being identified with the help of neighbours, the family members reached to pick her up, but in the meantime the woman had escaped from the Bangaon hospital. After this the family members had returned. Then on last April 4, the woman was found at Bangaon station.

From there, he was taken to the hospital with the help of railway police. After this the family members were called again. Due to the poor financial condition of the family members, they were not able to come for the second time, due to which Ham Radio contacted the DM of Ballia and the local police and called for financial help and then the woman was handed over to her grandson.

Minor missing for a month found in airport area

A missing minor from Jamuria of Asansol was recovered from the airport area and handed over to his family members. According to the information, the minor was missing since March 25. Seeing him helpless, a taxi driver in the airport area took him to the airport police station and handed him over. When the police inquired about her whereabouts, it was found that she is a resident of Jamudia police station area. After this, with the help of Jamudia police station, he was handed over to his family members.
