Bajrang Dal slaps Rs 100 crore defamation notice on Congress, sends notice to President Kharge

Chandigarh Bajrang Dal has sent a legal notice to Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge claiming defamation. In which a claim of Rs 100 crore has been made.

What did Bajrang Dal allege in the notice

Bajrang Dal accuses Congress in notice sent to Mallikarjun Kharge, announces ban on organization in its manifesto. Bajrang Dal was compared to terrorist organizations like Popular Front of India and terrorist organizations like Students Islamic Movement of India. PFI and SIMI are terrorist organizations affiliated with Al Qaeda and ISIS and other global terrorist organizations proscribed by the United Nations General Assembly and over a hundred countries as well as under the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act. Whereas Bajrang Dal under the aegis of Vishwa Hindu Parishad believes in universalism, tolerance, religious unity, national integrity and service to Mother India and to do so draws inspiration from the ideal examples of Lord Rama and Lord Hanuman. It was told in the notice that Bajrang Dal workers have served the nation in many disasters.

In fact, the Congress had released the manifesto for the Karnataka assembly elections on May 2. In which he has promised that decisive action will be taken against organizations like Bajrang Dal and Popular Front of India (PFI) for ‘spreading hatred’ on the basis of caste and religion in the state. It has been said in the manifesto that if the Congress government is formed in the state, then action can be taken to ban such organisations.

Bajrang Dal, VHP and BJP protested fiercely

Hindu organizations are constantly protesting across the country regarding the ban on Bajrang Dal. BJP and Bajrang Dal recited Hanuman Chalisa from house to house while protesting in Karnataka. Not only this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also attacked the Congress in the Karnataka elections and said, efforts are being made to stop the devotees of Hanuman. The people of Karnataka will give an answer to the Congress. He appealed to the people to say Bajrang Bali ki Jai while casting their votes.
