Ranchi News: On the occasion of Republic Day, Bahawalpuri Punjabi Samaj and Bahawalpuri Punjabi Samaj Mahila Samiti hoisted the flag at Gurudwara-Mandir Chowk, Krishna Nagar Colony at 10:15 am on Friday, 26 January. Patron of the organization Dr. Satish Midha, President Lalit Kingar, Secretary Ashwini Sukhija, Mukhi Radheshyam Kingar, Manohar Lal Jasuja jointly hoisted the flag. The members of Mahila Samiti sang the national anthem and sang many patriotic songs like “O people of my country, please fill your eyes with water….” and “Now hand over your country friends….”. On the occasion, Pandit Radheshyam Goswami sang patriotic songs like “Hai Preet Jahan Reet Sada Main Geet Wahan Ke Gaata, I am a resident of India, I tell the words of India….” and “Mera Rang De Basanti Chola….” He captivated the hearts of the people present by singing.

Naresh Papaneja, media in-charge of the organization, said that on this occasion, Rajendra Kumar Gandhi and Rajkumar Taleja were honored by Bahawalpuri Samaj President Lalit Kingar, social worker Mahendra Arora and Manohar Lal Jasuja by covering them with shawls and giving them mementos.
Appeal to the young generation to actively participate in nation building
Chief patron of the organization, Dr. Satish Midha, congratulated the people present on Republic Day and called upon the young generation to actively participate in nation building. President of the organization, Lalit Kingar, while congratulating the Republic Day, appealed to the people of the society to remain united and the secretary of the organization, Ashwini Sukhija, while narrating the story of sacrifice of the brave martyrs, asked them to follow their ideals.
