Lucknow : The Lucknow Police has withdrawn its Tughlaqi decree regarding Bhandara on Bade Mangal in the state capital Lucknow. In view of the huge protest by the people, the Lucknow Police has now taken a U-turn in the matter and said that now only the police station will have to be informed for organizing Bhandara on Bade Mangal. Along with this, the Municipal Corporation will also have to be informed for the cleaning system. Now there is no need to take permission from the Deputy Commissioner of Police of the concerned zone. According to the information, CM Yogi has taken cognizance of this matter, after which the Lucknow police had to take a U-turn.

Order was issued to take permission for Bhandara

In fact, instructions were issued on Saturday by the Commissioner of Police and Joint Commissioner of Police, Law and Order. In which, in view of Section 144 in Lucknow, permission for any event related to Bade Mangal will have to be taken from the Deputy Commissioner of Police of the concerned zone. In which it was told that the traffic gets affected due to the crowd and the common passers-by have to bear the brunt of it.

Keeping in view the problems faced by the general public, the Lucknow Police had made permission mandatory for Bhandara. At the same time, as soon as the press release of the Lucknow Police was released on social media, there was a lot of criticism. People reacted sharply in different ways. After which the Lucknow police had to take a U-turn by its order.
