Bareilly : Anti Corruption Team (Vigilance) arrested a Babu of Ruhelkhand Depot of Uttar Pradesh Path Parivahan Nigam Limited (Roadways) while taking bribe. He was taking bribe of Rs 10,000 from the bus owner in the name of permit.Vigilance Further action is being taken against the accused Babu. Another big case of bribery has come to light in Bareilly. Anti-corruption team has arrested Babu Jagmohan Yadav, the permit holder of Ruhelkhand depot. He was arrested while taking a bribe of Rs.10,000. Accused Babu Jagmohan Yadav was demanding bribe from the bus owner for a long time in the name of issuing permit. The permit was not issued due to non-receipt of bribe. The bus owner complained to the vigilance, after which the vigilance team arrested him red-handed on Thursday while taking a bribe of Rs 10,000.
Two accountants have also gone to jail for corruption
This action of the anti-corruption team created a stir in the roadways as well as other government departments. The exercise to register an FIR against the accused Babu is going on. Earlier, on the complaint of the farmer Daljit Singh to the Lekhpal of Bahedi tehsil, Vigilance had imposed a fine of Rs 10,000. He was arrested while taking bribe. The accused Lekhpal was sent to jail. Along with this, a Lekhpal was also arrested in Faridpur Tehsil while taking bribe from a farmer. Now the Babu of Ruhelkhand Depot has been caught. Many big cases of bribery have come to the fore in a few months.
