Azam Khan: SP leader Azam Khan will be sentenced today in the Dungarpur case, retired CO Ale Hasan and three others also convicted.

Lucknow: The court will sentence SP leader Mohd. Azam Khan in the Dungarpur case on Monday, March 18. In this case, the court had convicted four people including Azam Khan. This also includes retired CO Ale Hasan Khan, Bareilly contractor Barkat Ali, former Rampur Municipality Chairman Ahmed Khan. It is noteworthy that this matter is of 3 February 2016. It is alleged that some people had houses built near the police line. Which was demolished after declaring it to be a government house. Ehtesham, a resident of Jail Road, had filed a case on this when the BJP government came to power in 2019.

Ehtesham alleges that retired CO Ale Hasan Khan, Bareilly contractor Barkat Ali, former Rampur Municipality Chairman Ahmed Khan had entered his house along with the policemen. He was beaten and thrown out of the house. 25 thousand rupees and a mobile phone were also looted. When a complaint was made about this to Azam Khan, a minister in the SP government, instead of listening to him, he was beaten and chased away. Rampur MP LLA Court had heard this case on Saturday. In which former minister Azam Khan, retired CO Aale Hasan Khan, Bareilly contractor Barkat Ali, former Rampur Municipality Chairman Ahmed Khan were declared guilty. While SP leaders Omendra Chauhan, Farman and Jibran were acquitted. The court has removed the section of robbery.
