Ayodhya Ram Mandir: More than 3.5 lakh devotees visited Ramlala on Republic Day

More than 3.25 lakh devotees had darshan of Ram Lala in Ayodhya’s Ram temple on Republic Day on Friday. The temple was opened to the general public on Tuesday, a day after the consecration ceremony. According to officials, about five lakh devotees visited the temple on the first day. On the fourth day of the Pran Pratistha ceremony, people stood patiently in queues for the darshan of Ram Lalla. On the instructions of CM Yogi, State Principal Secretary (Home) Sanjay Prasad and Director General of Police Law and Order Prashant Kumar reached Ayodhya to take stock of the arrangements for easy darshan of the devotees. Amid Republic Day, Principal Secretary (Home) Sanjay Prasad and Director General Kumar along with other officials visited the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple complex. During this, Sanjay Prasad gave instructions to take necessary action for easy darshan of the devotees. According to an official statement, after the Pran Pratishtha event, regular review is being done regarding the darshan of devotees in the temple and the security arrangements and other traffic arrangements of Ayodhya.

Officials inspected the temple premises

According to officials, the Principal Secretary (Home) visited Ayodhya in this sequence. Earlier, the temple premises were also inspected by senior officials in the morning. According to the officials, all the devotees are lining up with devotion to have darshan and are also receiving prasad. The officers returned to Lucknow in the evening and informed the Chief Minister. Let us tell you that ever since the temple has been open for the public, the Chief Minister has been actively monitoring the arrangements like accommodation, transportation and security of the devotees. Besides, they are also ensuring that the devotees do not face any inconvenience in having darshan. Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Trust has started the program of ‘Aarti’ and ‘Darshan’.

The time for Mangala and Shringaar Aarti has been fixed.

In view of the huge crowd of devotees, Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Trust has released the time list of Aarti and Darshan. According to Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) media in-charge Sharad Sharma, Mangala Aarti of Ramlala will be held at 4.30 am and Shringaar Aarti will be held at 6.30 am. He told that after this the devotees will be able to have darshan from seven o’clock. He told that after this, Bhog Aarti will be held at 12 noon, Evening Aarti at 7.30 pm and Bhog Aarti at 9 pm and Shayan Aarti at 10 pm. Sharma told that during the morning Mangala Aarti, the doors of the temple will remain closed for general visitors.
