Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the redeveloped Ayodhya railway station and flag off the new Amrit Bharat trains and Vande Bharat trains. He will also dedicate many other railway projects to the nation. The Prime Minister will inaugurate the newly constructed Ayodhya Airport at around 12:15 pm. Its name is now being told as ‘Maharishi Valmiki International Airport’. At around 1 pm, the Prime Minister will participate in a public event, where he will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of several development projects worth more than Rs 15700 crore in the state. These include projects worth about Rs 11,100 crore for the development of Ayodhya and its surrounding areas and projects worth about Rs 4,600 crore related to other projects across Uttar Pradesh. During his visit to Ayodhya, the Prime Minister will inaugurate the new airport, newly redeveloped railway station, newly redeveloped, wide and beautiful roads and other civic infrastructure. Apart from this, the foundation stone of several new projects will be laid, which will contribute to the beautification and improvement of civic amenities in and around Ayodhya.

Ayodhya airport is equipped with these facilities

The first phase of the state-of-the-art airport has been developed at a cost of more than Rs 1450 crore. The airport terminal building will have an area of ​​6500 square meters, which will be equipped to serve approximately 10 lakh passengers annually. The façade of the terminal building reflects the architecture of the adjacent Shri Ram Temple in Ayodhya. The interiors of the terminal building are decorated with local art, paintings and frescoes depicting the life of Lord Shri Ram. The terminal building of Ayodhya Airport is equipped with various facilities like insulated roof system, LED lighting system, rain water harvesting, landscaping with fountains, water treatment plant, sewage treatment plant, solar power plant and many more such facilities. . All these facilities will be as per 5 star rating. The airport will improve connectivity in the region, which will boost tourism, business activities and employment opportunities.

Development of Ayodhya Dham Railway Station with Rs 240 crores

It has been developed at a cost of more than Rs 240 crore under the first phase of the redeveloped Ayodhya Railway Station. The three-storey modern railway station building is equipped with all modern facilities like lift, escalator, food plaza, worship material shops, clock room, child care room, waiting hall. The station building will be ‘accessible for all’ and ‘IGBC certified green station building’.

Amrit Bharat-Vande Bharat Train and other rail projects

  • In the program at the railway station, the Prime Minister will flag off a new class of superfast passenger trains in the country – Amrit Bharat Express. Amrit Bharat train is an LHB push pull train with non-air conditioned coaches. For better speed, engines are installed at both ends of this train. This train provides better facilities to the passengers like beautiful and attractive designed seats, better luggage racks, mobile charging points with suitable mobile holders, LED lights, CCTV, public information system. The Prime Minister will also flag off six new Vande Bharat trains.

  • The Prime Minister will flag off two new Amrit Bharat trains, namely Darbhanga-Ayodhya-Anand Vihar Terminal Amrit Bharat Express and Malda Town-Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminus (Bengaluru) Amrit Bharat Express.

  • The Prime Minister will also flag off six new Vande Bharat trains. These include conservation and beautification of four historical entry gates in Ayodhya, new concrete ghats and renovation of pre-built ghats between Guptar Ghat and Rajghat, development and beautification of tourist facilities from Naya Ghat to Laxman Ghat, Deepotsav at Ram Ki Paidi and other fairs. Construction of visitor gallery, strengthening and renovation of the pilgrimage path from Ram Ki Paidi to Rajghat and from Rajghat to Ram Mandir.

  • The Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone of Greenfield Township in Ayodhya to be developed at a cost of more than Rs 2180 crore and Vashishtha Kunj Housing Scheme to be developed at a cost of about Rs 300 crore.

  • The Prime Minister will also lay the foundation stone of NH-28 (New NH-27) Lucknow-Ayodhya section. The work includes strengthening and modification of the existing Ayodhya bypass NH-28 (new NH-27), establishment of CIPET center in Ayodhya and construction of Municipal Corporation Ayodhya and Ayodhya Development Authority office.

Projects related to other parts of the state

During the public event, the Prime Minister will inaugurate and inaugurate other important projects in Uttar Pradesh. These include four-lane widening of Gosain Ki Bazaar Bypass-Varanasi (Ghaghra Bridge-Varanasi) (NH-233).
