Ayodhya: Janbhoomi Trust reveals the features of Shri Ram Temple, know what will be special

Lucknow: The construction work of Shri Ram temple is going on at a fast pace in Ayodhya. The idol of Ram Lalla will be consecrated on 22 January 2024 in the presence of PM Narendra Modi. Crowds of devotees have already started gathering to see the temple. Shri Ram Janbhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has shared the information about what will be the specialty of Shri Ram Temple. Along with this, a photo of the model of the temple complex has also been released.

Features of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple under construction in Ayodhya

  • The temple is being built in traditional Nagar style

  • The length of the temple (east to west) will be 380 feet, width will be 250 feet and height will be 161 feet.

  • The temple will be three storeyed, height of each floor 20 feet, total 392 pillars and 44 gates in the temple.

  • In the main sanctum sanctorum there will be the child form of Lord Shri Ram (deity of Shri Ram Lalla Sarkar), Shri Ram Darbar on the first floor.

  • There will be 5 pavilions in the temple: Dance Pavilion, Color Pavilion, Sabha Pavilion, Prayer Pavilion and Kirtan Pavilion.

  • Statues of gods and goddesses are being carved on the pillars and walls.

  • Entry to the temple will be from the east side, by climbing 32 stairs and from Singhdwar.
