Ayodhya: Interview begins for priests of Ram temple, Ram Lalla’s idol will be discussed in the construction committee meeting.

Ayodhya Ram Temple News: Amidst the preparations for the consecration ceremony of Ramlala in Ramnagari Ayodhya, new priests will soon be found for worship. Applications were invited by Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust for the appointment of new Archakas i.e. priests, three thousand online applications were received for the training scheme. All these applications are being closely scrutinized. Out of these, 270 candidates have been selected for interview on the basis of merit. The interview process has started and about 132 candidates have been interviewed at Karsevakpuram in Ayodhya. After all the people are interviewed, a decision regarding appointment will be taken. The panel that took the interview includes well-known scientist and Mahant Acharya Mithilesh Nandini Sharan of Hanumat Niwas, Jaykant Sharma, scholar of Nyaya Grammar and Ramanand Darshan and Satyanarayana Das, disciple of Mahant Ramanand Das of Ramkunj. According to Acharya Mithileshnandinisharan, 20 applicants who are successful in the interview will be given residential training for six months along with a monthly honorarium of Rs 2,000. It is necessary for the applicants to study for six months through Shri Ramnanandiya Diksha and Gurukul education system.
