Ayodhya: Every year on Ramnavmi, Surya will anoint Ramlala, the idol is in the image of an innocent five year old child.

Ayodhya: The idol installed in Shri Ram temple is supernatural and grand. Champat Rai, General Secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, gave detailed information about the grandeur of the idol on Saturday. He has told that the idol of Lord Shri Ram has been made in such a way that every year on Ram Navami, Lord Surya himself will anoint Shri Ram. On the advice of eminent space scientists of India, the length of the idol and the height of its installation have been kept in such a way that every year on the ninth date of Shukla Paksha of Chaitra month, the sun’s rays will fall on the forehead of Lord Shri Ram at 12 noon.

A glimpse of the divinity, grandeur and newness towards which Lord Shri Ram’s city Ayodhya is heading is now visible. The supernatural will be visible not only in the development works taking place in the city, but also in the grand temple of Lord Ram and his statue. The new idol has also been approved by the Temple Trust. General Secretary Champat Rai told that three craftsmen made the idol of Lord Shri Ram. Out of which one idol has been chosen by God’s inspiration.

The length of the idol of Shri Ram from foot to forehead is 51 inches. Its weight is one and a half ton. The idol made of dark colored stone has the divinity of Lord Vishnu and the radiance of a royal son. It also has the innocence of a 5 year old child. The idol has been selected keeping in mind the softness of the face, look in the eyes, smile, body etc. The head, crown and aura on the 51 inch high statue have also been finely crafted.
