Ayodhya: Elders coming to Ram Janmabhoomi will not have to walk, e-vehicles will be available inside the complex.

Ayodhya (Language): The elderly and disabled devotees invited on the occasion of the consecration of Ram temple will not need to walk much in the grand complex. Temple Construction Trust will run e-vehicles for them. Temple trustee Anil Mishra said that special arrangements will be made for the elderly visitors coming to Ram Janmabhoomi. Senior citizens will not need to walk much in the grand complex.

He told that after the consecration of Ram temple, e-vehicles will be operated for the convenience of elderly and disabled devotees as well as sick people. The trust will soon purchase small e-vehicles. These e-vehicles will be battery operated ‘golf carts’ with a capacity of 12 passengers.

Anil Mishra said that to avail this facility, senior citizens can contact the reception office at the Ram Temple entrance. They will be taken in e-vehicles to the nearest point of the sanctum sanctorum and brought back in the same vehicle. This arrangement will be for those devotees who can walk 25-30 meters from the main gate to the sanctum sanctorum, but cannot cover the distance of 600 meters. Mishra said that the trust will also provide medical facilities to the devotees.
