Lucknow : Chairman of ‘Mohammad Bin Abdullah’ and BJP leader Haji Arfat Sheikh said on Thursday that the mosque to be built on five acres of land in Dhannipur village of Ayodhya will be better than the Taj Mahal. Chairman of the Masjid Muhammad Bin Abdullah Development Committee highlighted the key features and characteristics of the mosque in an interview with a TV channel. This mosque will be built only 25 km away from Ram temple. Remember that on November 9 last year, the Supreme Court had paved the way for the construction of Ram temple at the disputed Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid site in Ayodhya. And the Center was directed to allot five acres of alternative land to the Sunni Waqf Board. The state government allotted five acres of land in Ayodhya’s Dhannipur village to build a new mosque at a “prominent” location in the Uttar Pradesh city.
Mosque will be a confluence of ‘medicine and prayer’
Haji Arafat Sheikh said the new mosque, which will be the largest in India, will have the world’s largest Quran in saffron colour, measuring 21 feet in height and 36 feet in width. The first namaz in the mosque will be offered by Mecca’s Imam Imam-e-Haram Abdul Rahman-e-Sudais. He said, “We are confident that this mosque will be more beautiful than the Taj Mahal. It will be a center of ‘medicine and prayer’ because it will not only allow people to offer namaz but will also have a 500-bed cancer hospital. Which will benefit people.” Haji Arfat Shaikh said, “No one from UP will go to Mumbai for cancer treatment.” It will also have various colleges of dental, medical and engineering.
Five minarets will symbolize the five pillars of Islam
This will be the first mosque where people of all communities will eat food. There will also be facility of vegetarian langar for all. 5,000 people will be able to eat food together at a time. Had a special conversation with Aaj Tak and told that this mosque will be more beautiful than Taj Mahal. Shaikh said that there will be not only prayer but also medicine in the mosque, that is, prayer and medicine will be the center point here. This mosque, being built in Dhannipur, 25 kilometers away from Ayodhya, will have the facility of vegetarian langar for all. This will be the first mosque which will also have dental, medical and engineering colleges. On the basis of humanity, various facilities will be provided next to this mosque and it will also be declared a tourist destination. Sheikh said that the mosque will have five minarets which will symbolize the five pillars of Islam – Kalma, Namaz, Roza, Haj and Zakat.
