Ayodhya: On the second day of Shri Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha event, the idol was taken for a tour of the temple premises. Earlier there was a plan to tour the city but later it was limited to touring the temple premises. The idols will be installed in the sanctum sanctorum on Thursday, the third day of the event. In the Pran Pratistha Puja, after 1.20 pm on Wednesday, 17 January, the program of Jal Yatra, Teerth Puja, Brahmin-Batuk-Kumari-Suvasini Puja, Vardhini Puja, Kalshayatra and tour of the idol of Lord Shri Ramlala in the Prasad complex was fixed as per tradition. Earlier, on the second day of Shri Ram Mandir Pran Pratistha, host Dr. Anil Mishra performed special puja on the banks of Saryu river. Worship was also done in the sanctum sanctorum of the temple.
Vedic scholar Acharya Shri Ganeshwar Shastri Dravid had informed after the Pran Pratistha of the first day that on January 16, as part of the Pratishtha Mahotsav of 22 January, in the Shri Ram temple built at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi place in Ayodhya, Anil Mishra performed Sangopang Sarva Prayashchitta and Saryu Took bath in the river. After worshiping Vishnu, offering Panchagavya and ghee to the table and performing Panchagavyaprashan. Donated as an atonement from Dwadshabd Paksha. After Dashdaan, Karmakuti Homa was performed at the idol making place. Acharya Vaidikpravar Laxmikant Dixit was present at the time of Havan. The recital of Valmiki Ramayana and Bhusundiramayana started in the pavilion.
