Excise Minister Nitin Aggarwal said that the sale of liquor will be completely banned in 84 Kosi Parikrama area in Ramnagari and all the liquor shops present here will be removed. Nitin Aggarwal had come to Ayodhya to meet Champat Rai, General Secretary of Shri Ram Mandir Teerth Kshetra Trust. He told that Shri Ram Mandir area has already been made liquor free. Now by declaring 84 Kosi Parikrama area as prohibition, all the shops coming in this area will be removed. There were already speculations about this decision of the Yogi government. CM Yogi Adityanath had indicated this during his visit to Ayodhya. He said that since Ayodhya is a religious city, public sentiments should be respected. Consumption of meat and alcohol should be banned here. He also said that religious city Ayodhya will be a model of urban development. Drinking water will be available here 24 hours. While reviewing various development works, CM Yogi had said that every devotee coming to Ayodhya should go back with peace, satisfaction and joy.

Meanwhile, the works related to the consecration ceremony are being completed rapidly in Ayodhya. Ayodhya Ram Temple Construction Committee Chairman Nripendra Mishra took stock of the construction work on Thursday and gave instructions. In view of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Ayodhya on December 30, preparations are being constantly reviewed. There is high alert in Ayodhya in view of the Prime Minister’s program. Security arrangements were made very strict. Four companies of PAC including three DIGs, 17 Superintendents of Police, 40 Additional Superintendents of Police, 82 Deputy Superintendents of Police, 90 Inspectors have been deployed.

Five people including PM Modi will be present in the sanctum sanctorum

Meanwhile, it is being said that five people including Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be present in the consecration program of Ram Lalla in the Ram temple of Ayodhya. During the program, State Governor Anandiben Patel, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh’s Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Chief Acharya of Ram Temple Satyendra will be present in the sanctum sanctorum along with the Prime Minister. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be present in the sanctum sanctorum at the time of consecration on January 22 when the blindfold of Ram Lalla’s idol will be removed. Three teams of Acharyas have been formed for the puja program. The first team will be led by Swami Govind Dev Giri. Ayodhya city is being decorated with sun pillars

Ahead of the consecration ceremony of Ram temple to be held in Ayodhya next month, a major road of the city is being decorated with sun-themed surya pillars. Each pillar, thirty feet high, has a decorative circle, which looks like the sun when lit at night. According to the Ayodhya division of the Uttar Pradesh Public Works Department, 40 such pillars will be installed on the Dharma Path road, which connects Lata Mangeshkar Chowk near Naya Ghat to Ayodhya Bypass. Ahead of the Pran Pratistha ceremony to be held in January, the shutters of shops located on Ram Path and other major roads in Ayodhya have been decorated with artworks of Hindu symbols. These artefacts include slogans of Jai Shri Ram and Swastika symbols along with the shape of the temple.

People excited by new changes in Ayodhya

There is immense enthusiasm among the people regarding the consecration of Ram temple in Ayodhya. Satyendra Pandey, who lives near the Atravaan temple, said that walk on any path, you will be able to see the glorious Ayodhya. Ayodhya is the only city where projects worth more than Rs 30 thousand crores are going on simultaneously. Earlier people used to come to Ayodhya only from a spiritual point of view, but now along with this, people are coming to see Ayodhya associated with the new stream of tourism, culture and development. Ayodhya has climbed the ranks of overall development, soon Ayodhya will be the top city. Utensil trader Shri Krishna Lal, resident of Ashrafi Bhawan Marg, said that now look at Ayodhya with both physical and mental eyes. It will appear cloudy only.
