Ayodhya: A 44 feet high flagpole will be installed in Shri Ram Temple. This flagpole will be installed at the peak of the temple. Its weight is said to be five and a half tonnes. It has been brought from Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Apart from this, 6 more flag poles of 20 feet each have been brought. Their weight is 700-700 kg. All the flag poles will be installed in the temple.
According to the engineer who arrived from Ahmedabad with this flagpole, the construction of the flagpole started 8 months ago. On January 5, Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel had sent it to Ayodhya. It is being told that the largest flagpole will be visible from the summit. Apart from this, six others will be installed in the temples being built in the fort. The height of the peak of Ram temple will be 161 feet. Apart from the flagpole, a 21 quintal bell made in Jalesar of Etah for the Ram temple also reached Ayodhya.
