Dhanbad, Sudhir Sinha : Automobile sector has shined due to Vishwakarma Puja. There is a long list of bookings. So far, booking of 500 four wheelers and 900 two wheelers has been done. There is a possibility of booking of some more trains in the coming two days. There is a possibility of business of about Rs 60 crore in this sector on Vishwakarma Puja. Customers are booking keeping in mind the resale value along with the features of the model. Many models of four wheelers are out of market. At the same time, the waiting period of many models ranges from 45 days to 180 days. Maruti’s Dezire and Front models are in great demand. Whereas Boleno, Brizza, Swift, WagonR, Grand Vitara are in good demand. Here the demand for Mahindra’s Scorpio N, Classic, XUV 700 and XUV 300 models, Tata’s Punch and Nexon models is in full swing. All models of Hyundai are available in the showroom. Hyundai Creta is in highest demand. Apart from this, there is huge demand for Toyota’s Innova and Fortuner also. Innova Highcross model is out of market. Kia and Renault also have good bookings.
