Auto Sales: Mahindra vehicles sold fiercely, demand for SUV high

Auto Sales Report Mahindra & Mahindra’s passenger vehicle sales grew by 22 per cent to 32,886 units in May. The company gave this information to the stock market. The company sold 26,904 vehicles in May 2022. Mahindra said that sales of utility (passenger and goods) vehicles increased by 23 percent to 32,883 units in May, compared to 26,632 units in May 2022.

Vijay Nakra, President, Automotive Division, Mahindra & Mahindra said, “We will continue to grow due to strong demand in the SUV (Sports Utility Vehicle) segment. The company said that in the farm equipment segment, it sold a total of 34,126 tractors in May, a decline of four percent, as against 35,722 units in May last year. Domestic tractor sales declined by three per cent to 33,113 units in May as against 34,153 units in May last year.
