Asian Games: Yuvraj Singh’s record broken after 16 years, know which player did this feat

Nepal men’s team created history during their Asian Games group match against Mongolia on Wednesday, breaking several T20I records as the men’s tournament kicked off in Hangzhou. While India won the gold medal in the women’s event on Monday, a world record was set in the very first match of the men’s event as Nepal posted an incredible score of 314/3 in 20 overs and scored 300 runs in the shortest format of the game. Deependra Singh Airi broke Yuvraj Singh’s record

Nepal’s Dipendra Singh Airi scored a half-century in nine balls in the opening match of the men’s cricket competition at the 2023 Asian Games in Hangzhou on Wednesday. He played an unbeaten inning of 52 runs in just 10 balls, in which he completed his half-century in just nine balls. He broke the existing record of Yuvraj Singh. Former Indian all-rounder Yuvraj Singh scored a half-century in 12 balls against England in the T20 World Cup 2007. He started his innings with five consecutive sixes and reached 30 runs in just five balls, before a double broke his momentum slightly. He hit three more sixes in a row to complete his half-century and created a new record.
