Waterlogging has started on the roads of the capital after heavy rains on the second day. There is no drainage system in many important roads. In such a situation, water remained accumulated on the road for hours on Tuesday. Due to which the people coming and going were worried. The condition is such that people have to come and go by entering the water.
Two wheelers are also getting stuck there. Due to the rain, the drain water is also freezing on the road. Due to which foul smell is coming. It has become difficult for people to pass through this. Due to school holidays, parents had to take their children to their homes through muddy water. The condition of the roads of the capital remained bad for two hours.
Waterlogging near Chetantoli in Saint Francis School Road:
There is water logging near Chetantoli in St. Francis School Road. Till last year, water was flowing in the shock pit made by the road department, but now its path has been closed. Due to this, all the water is freezing on the road. At the same time, water is freezing up to one and a half feet near the Ratu Road cemetery. Due to this also there is a problem in the movement of vehicles.
Water logging near Jaipal Singh Stadium:
There was water logging on the road near Jaipal Singh Stadium in Kachari Road. Due to water logging, the drivers were forced to move intermittently. Due to this there was a jam on the road. Due to the blockage of the drain near Kishoreganj Chowk, the drain water was overflowing and flowing on the road. The current of the water here was so high that people were not able to cross this water even if they wanted to. Same was the case with the main road. Here, near the Daily Market, the drain water was flowing on the roads in a strong stream. In Line Tank Road too, the water had stopped on the road near the police guest house.
