Arvind Kejriwal leaves for Madhya Pradesh after writing a letter to ED, will hold a road show in Singrauli

He will hold a road show with Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann as part of the party’s election campaign in Singrauli, Madhya Pradesh. It was told by the party that the Delhi Chief Minister will go to Singrauli in Madhya Pradesh where he will hold a roadshow with Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. Let us tell you that the Enforcement Directorate has summoned Arvind Kejriwal for questioning in the money laundering case related to the alleged excise policy scam. He was to appear at the investigating agency’s Delhi office at 11 am on Thursday, but he wrote a letter to the ED and said that the notice should be withdrawn.

What did Arvind Kejriwal say to ED?

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday wrote a letter to the ED demanding the investigating agency to withdraw the notice sent to him for questioning. He claimed that this is completely illegal and politically motivated. Delhi Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) in response to the ED notice said that Kejriwal has called it illegal and politically motivated. This is an effort to stop him from campaigning in election states. The Delhi Chief Minister also alleged that this notice has been sent to him at the behest of BJP. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s reply to the ED said that being the national convenor and star campaigner of Aam Aadmi Party, I have to travel for election campaign and provide political guidance to my regional workers of AAP. As Chief Minister of Delhi, I have governance and official commitments that require my presence.
