Arvind Kejriwal Arrest: AAP preparing for big movement against Kejriwal’s arrest

Arvind Kejriwal Arrest: Delhi Minister Gopal Rai said that around 2500 teams of Aam Aadmi Party have been formed to invite people. He said, the workers included in the team are going door to door from today and inviting people to join ‘Chalo Ramlila Maidan’ on March 31. I am sure that people will reach Ramlila Maidan to protest against the arrest of Arvind Kejriwal. We are in touch with various political parties and their program will be finalized soon.

Preparations intensified for Maharally at Ramlila Maidan

Earlier, AAP’s Delhi unit convenor and minister Gopal Rai had said that many prominent leaders of the ‘Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance’ (India) alliance will participate in the mega rally, in which a large number of people will be present. Rai said that preparations are going on for the Maharally. He said that for this, AAP MLAs and officials have been deployed as observers to monitor the arrangements.

Those who believe in democracy and constitution will join this fight: Rai

Gopal Rai had recently attacked the BJP and the Narendra Modi government at the Center and said that if the dictatorial government of the country can arrest Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, then it can do the same with anyone who raises his voice. This fight has now become everyone’s fight and those who believe in democracy and the Constitution will join this fight. He said that the ‘India’ alliance is confident that March 31 will prove to be a historic day at Ramlila Maidan.

Trinamool Congress will participate in the Maharally

Trinamool Congress will send its representatives to the rally of opposition alliance ‘India’ organized on March 31 against the arrest of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal by the Enforcement Directorate. Trinamool sources said that the party will send two leaders as representatives to the rally, but did not reveal the names of the leaders.

Arvind Kejriwal in ED custody till April 1

After the expiry of the custody period, ED presented Arvind Kejriwal in Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court on Thursday. From where the court sent Kejriwal to ED custody till April 1. Although ED had demanded remand of 7 days, but the court sent Kejriwal in custody for 4 days.

ED arrested Kejriwal in money laundering case related to liquor scam

It is noteworthy that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was arrested by ED on the night of March 21 in a money laundering case related to the alleged excise policy scam. On March 22, the ED presented Kejriwal in the local court, from where the court sent him to ED custody for questioning till March 28.
