Art & Culture: Patna (Bihar); April 5, 2024; One of the most important cultural events of Indian art, culture and literature, Literary Festival Jashn-e-Adab Cultural Caravan Heritage ‘Jashn-e-Bihar’ The event has started from today at Premchand Rangshala, Saidpur, Rajendra Nagar, Patna. This program will continue tomorrow, April 6, 2024 (Saturday) which will start from 2 pm. This cultural festival is being organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture (Government of India), Ministry of Tourism (Government of India) and Department of Art, Culture and Youth – Government of Bihar. Skilled Indian artists from different parts of the country are participating and performing in this historic cultural program. The happy thing is that the entry fee for this program is absolutely free for all the spectators.
How was today’s program?
Today the program started with ‘Abhi Tuk Rote-Rote So Gaya Hai’, a romantic poet sammelan and mushaira dedicated to the great poet ‘Mir Taqi Mir’ on 300 years of his birth. Some of the best and famous poets of India participated in it like Farhat Ehsaas, Azm Shakiri, Javed Mushiri, Ramayan Dhar Dwivedi, Gautam Rajrishi, Ashwini Kumar Chand, Kunwar Ranjit Chauhan, Anas Faizi and Shakir Dehlvi. The Kathak dance ‘Raksh – Ghunghru Bol Uthe’ performed by Vidha Lal and group was a wonderful presentation. The audience was thrilled with the performance of Padma Bhushan Pt. Sajan Mishra and Pt. Swaransh Mishra in the classical song ‘Sur Sandhya’ and kept clapping. The first day ended with the program ‘Sur Yamini’ by renowned folk and classical singer Padmashree Malini Awasthi.

Talking about the programs of the second day, the audience can enjoy the fast-paced Urdu poetry game ‘Baitbaazi’. Apart from this, the original story of Kissa Heer Ris Shah-Manu Sikandar Dhingra will also be celebrated. The center of attraction in tomorrow’s program will be the panel discussion on ‘Today’s cinema in the form of OTT’, in which famous actor of Panchayat web series Faizal Malik will be seen chatting with Kunwar Ranjit Chauhan. The high point of the day will be the instrumental performance by Kashmir’s Rabab player Padmashree Ustad Gulfam Ahmed Khan. Mehfil-e-Ghazal by singer Chandan Das is also ready to enthrall the audience. Tomorrow’s program will conclude with Sufi singing by Rajeev Singh & Group.
