Bareilly : Four youths from Uttarakhand have been defrauded of Rs 11 lakh in the name of jobs in Bareilly Army area (military area) of Uttar Pradesh. The accused had lured the youths by luring them to get jobs in the Indian Army. The victimized youths met the SSP. Complained of cheating. After this, on the instructions of the SSP, an FIR has been registered against the accused in the Cantt police station. The police have registered the report and started investigation. Vishal Dev, Saurabh Dev, Manish Singh and Sohan Bisht, residents of Almora, Uttarakhand. Told the police that a year ago he had come to the Military Hospital of Cantt for medical. Victim Vishal Dev was found near the hospital by Vicky Mandal, a resident of Sitarganj, Uttarakhand. Accused Vicky Mandal passed the medical test for army job after paying Rs 1.50 lakh. Talked about getting it done. Due to this, Vishal fell into the trap of the accused, and he gave the money to Vicky in the hotel. Vicky passed the medical exam. Due to this, Vishal had confidence in Vicky. But, this recruitment was suddenly cancelled.
The accused said, I will get my friends also recruited, bring the money.
A few months after this recruitment was cancelled, Vicky called me to Rudrapur in Uttarakhand and said. I will get you admitted to the Military Engineer Service. Said, bring friends also. Demanded Rs 5 lakh from every person. Vishal brought Sohan and Saurabh to Cantt BI market and introduced them to Vicky. Vicky took Rs 4.50 lakh from all three. After this, another three lakh rupees were taken. Through these people, Manish was called and two lakh rupees were taken from him. After this, Vicky made him meet Anand Singh and got the money transferred to the accounts of many people. Vicky avoided the officer saying that it was an accident. However, the victim youth met Bareilly SSP Ghule Sushil Chandrabhan in his office and told him the whole story. After this, on the instructions of the SSP, the accused Vicky Mandal, Anand Singh and his wife were arrested at the Cantt police station. A report has been filed against the associates. The police have started investigating the matter. SSP said that the youth of Uttarakhand had complained about cheating in the name of army jobs. On their complaint, an FIR has been lodged in the Cantt police station.
