Araria News: A 30-year-old youth has committed suicide by shooting himself in the head in Raniganj Nagar Panchayat ward number four of Raniganj police station area in Araria district of Bihar. The incident is being reported around 10 pm on Friday night. The deceased youth has been identified as Ashish Nayak, son of Sushil Nayak, resident of ward number four of Raniganj Nagar Panchayat.
There was discord going on in the family
It is not yet clear why the young man committed suicide. But sources say that for the last few days the young man was having a rift with his own family over some issue. Due to these domestic disputes, the deceased got angry and committed suicide by shooting himself in the head.
After the young man was shot in the head, the local people and his family members hurriedly brought him to Raniganj Referral Hospital for treatment. Where Dr. Rohit Kumar, in-charge of Raniganj Referral Hospital, who was on duty, declared the young man dead. Dr. Rohit Kumar has confirmed that the youth died due to bullet injury in the head.
Police is investigating the matter
After getting information about the incident, Raniganj police reached the house of the deceased and investigated the matter and recovered the weapon and shell. The body was taken into custody and sent to Araria for post-mortem.

Police station in-charge Sanjay Kumar said that the body has been taken into custody and sent for post-mortem, the forensic team has taken samples for investigation. Further action is being taken in the matter.
