Apoorva from Bihar has been an IIT student, got 163 rank in UPSC

Like every time, this time too the sons of Bihar have hoisted their flag in the UPSC Civil Services Examination. The name of Apoorva Anand from Banka district of Bihar has also been added to this table of success. Apoorva has proved his mettle with 163rd rank at All India level in UPSC 2023. He got this success in the third attempt.

Two elder sisters work

Apoorva Anand (Father- Late Omprakash Sharma and Mother- Shabnam Sharma) are residents of Bhikhanpur village of Amarpur block of Banka. Apoorva has two elder sisters. One sister Madhur Sharma works in Mumbai, while the other sister Nipur Sharma is working in Bangalore. It is said that Apoorva is also a relative of Bhagalpur Congress MLA Ajit Sharma.

Apoorva has been an IITian

Apoorva Anand completed his primary education from DAV Public School, Deoghar. He completed his B.Tech from IIT, Kanpur. After doing B.Tech, Apoorva was working as an analyst in the American company Goldman. Two years ago, Apoorva left this job and started online preparation for UPSC.

Success in third attempt

Apoorva kept appearing for UPSC exams while preparing online from home. However, he was not successful in his first two attempts. But without losing courage, Apoorva took the exam again and in the third attempt he passed the UPSC Civil Services Examination.
