Apart from Sanjay Singh in Hazaribagh, ED raids the bases of sand traders in Dhanbad, important documents found

Jharkhand News: Apart from Bihar, the ED team raided the locations of sand traders of Dhanbad and Hazaribagh in Jharkhand on Monday. Broadson Commodity Private Limited was operating the sand business. A complaint was made against this company in 2016-17. SIT was constituted for investigation. After this the matter reached the ED. ED has raided the directors and members of this company. In the raid operation which lasted for more than 12 hours, ED got hold of many documents.

ED team reached Sanjay Singh’s residence at seven in the morning

The ED team reached Sanjay Singh’s residence on Hazaribagh Mission Road around 7 am on Monday in two vehicles. As soon as ED officials entered the house, security forces were deployed outside. The entry gate was locked from inside. The members of the house were stopped from going inside. All the mobiles were taken into custody by the ED team. There was also a ban on going inside from outside. The news of ED’s raid spread all over the city by 9 am. Two officials of the ED team came out around one o’clock in the afternoon. As soon as the vehicle came out of the gate, the security force personnel closed the gate from inside. At 1.45 the vehicle again returned to Sanjay Singh’s residence. The raid operation is going on for more than 12 hours.

Sanjay Singh is the former vice president of JSCA.

Please tell that Sanjay Singh is the former vice-president of the Jharkhand State Cricket Association (JSCA). His relation is said to be with the sand traders of Bihar. The people of Dhanbad who have been included in the raid by ED. Apart from sand, he is also related to liquor business. In the raid, documents related to loss of revenue to the government and investment etc. in sand trade were seized. Documents related to disturbances and digital devices have also been seized from the bases of sand mafia.

Raids on more than 20 locations in Bihar-Jharkhand

The Patna ED team simultaneously raided more than 20 locations in Bihar and Jharkhand of businessmen associated with sand business, including JDU MLAs, at around 6 am. ED officials posted in Ranchi and Bhubaneswar were also involved in the raid.
