Anti sleeping devices will be installed in UP Transport Department buses to prevent accidents, alarm will sound if the driver sleeps.

Now in the buses of Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation, the alarm will start ringing immediately if the driver and conductor fall asleep. For this, a sensorized anti-sleeping device will be installed on the steering of the bus, which will help in preventing bus accidents. In the first phase, these sensor devices will be installed in more than 400 buses.

Actually, the Transport Corporation administration is going to install anti sleeping devices in buses for the safety of passengers. The approval to install the device has been given by Managing Director Masoom Ali Sarwar. If the device is installed in buses, an alarm will alert the driver if he falls asleep or takes a nap while driving. At present, this device has been tested in buses going from Lucknow to Delhi and Dehradun. The testing of the device was done in two phases, after the success of which a work order will be issued to the company selected for installing the device through tender. The devices will be installed in buses within three months.

Let us tell you that on August 28, the report of bus accidents that took place within one and a half years was released. According to which, this work has been done to reduce accidents by installing sensor devices in buses to prevent bus accidents. Not only this, the buses will also be connected to the command control centre. At the same time, Managing Director of Transport Corporation Masoom Ali Sarwar said that a hi-tech command center is being built at the headquarters. From where VTS, the vehicle tracking system installed in buses, will be monitored. Sensory devices installed in buses will also be monitored from this command centre.

Unique card will be launched soon, will be linked to UPI

The Transport Corporation will launch the National Common Mobility Card (NCMC) by the end of this month. Through this card, people will be able to pay for all the facilities including bus, metro, train, flight, restaurant and parking. According to the information, people will also be able to link this card with UPI. Till now, closed loop system cards have been issued in metro and buses. Through these, payment could be made only for one facility, but National Payment Corporation of India (NPCI) has decided to connect all the institutions with the open loop system. On this basis, Roadways will issue National Common Mobility Card.

Glimpse of Ayodhya-Kashi on the card

At present, brainstorming on the design of NCMC card is going on in the Transport Corporation. According to the information, a glimpse of Ayodhya and Kashi will be visible on the card, although the final decision on its color has not been taken yet. When asked about this, Transport Corporation MD Masoom Ali Sarwar said that NCMC will be launched by the end of this month. This will provide great convenience to the passengers.

If the bus is canceled send passengers from another place

Additional MD of Transport Corporation has ordered to cancel the bus if there are less than 25 passengers at night and 35 during the day. Meanwhile, Transport Minister Dayashankar Singh on Wednesday has given instructions to take care of the convenience of the passengers. The Minister has said that in case of bus cancellation, arrangements should be made to send passengers by other buses on the same route. Officials should keep in mind that passengers should not face any kind of problem. Along with this, instructions have also been given to increase the income.
