The latest case is of Chhaurahi Path of Cheria Bariyarpur police station area. On Wednesday, three criminals riding a bike shot dead a fish businessman. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot, took possession of the body and sent it for post-mortem. The police involved in the investigation say that the killers will be arrested soon.

The deceased has been identified as Amir Sahni, 30-year-old son of Batohi Sahni, resident of Kar village. Like normal days, Ameer was going for cover fishing on Wednesday, when bike-riding miscreants first hit his bicycle near Cheriya Bariyarpur Chaurahi road and then shot him in the head and ran away. Information about the incident was given to Manjhaul DSP Shyam Kishore Ranjan, after which he reached the spot and started investigating the entire matter.
Land dispute could be the reason for murder
Amir’s brother Shankar Kumar told that this incident was carried out due to a land dispute on the road. There was a land for sale near their land, which they were going to buy, but due to lack of money they could not register the land and that land was registered by other people on Monday. There was some extra land near the same land. He said that some people from the village started asserting their rights regarding the land and even came to his house and threatened him. In this connection, Bihari Tanti of the same village along with many of his people has carried out this incident.

Regarding this entire matter, Manjaul DSP Shyam Kishore Ranjan said that a young man who was going fishing has been murdered. A land dispute issue is coming to light. The family members are blaming the people of the village itself. The deceased had a criminal history. Police is investigating at all points. Police have recovered a kiosk and the damaged bicycle of the deceased from the spot. At present the police are interrogating two people in custody.
