Now the biggest film of Ranbir Kapoor’s career, Animal, is reportedly ready to launch on the OTT platform soon. Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, this film is one of the most successful films of 2023
Animal, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles, grossed over Rs 800 crore globally and became the biggest blockbuster of Ranbir’s career.
However, those who have not seen the film in theaters yet, are eagerly waiting for its release on the OTT platform. Recent reports suggest that the film will be released on an OTT platform in the last week of January 2024.
A user on X (formerly Twitter) shared a post mentioning the release date of Animal on the OTT platform. According to his tweet, this film will be released on Netflix on January 26.
Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the film also stars Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna, Trupti Dimri, Suresh Oberoi, Shakti Kapoor and Prem Chopra.
The film is based on Ranvijay, son of Balbir, a business magnate in Delhi, who moves to America, and returns after an assassination attempt on his father. Due to which Ranvijay is forced to avenge his father.
Animal is produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishna Kumar’s T-Series, Murad Khetani’s Cine 1 Studios and Prannoy Reddy Vanga’s Bhadrakali Pictures.
In a recent interview with ETimes, Mahesh Bhatt praised Sandeep Reddy Vanga. He said, “Sandeep’s courageous filmmaking and Ranbir’s tremendous acting have created cinematic magic.”
He also praised Ranbir Kapoor’s performance as Ranvijay Singh and said that his acting not only added depth but also made Animal feel like he was in real life. Mahesh Bhatt called the film an unprecedented and unattainable cinematic journey.
