Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol and Anil Kapoor starrer Animal was released in theaters on December 1. The film received a lot of love from the audience. It created a storm at the box office.
In India and abroad, Animal is ruling the box office charts and much to the delight of the producers. Animal has now become one of the highest grossing films of the year 2023. The good news is that Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal has now joined the illustrious club of Rs 500 crore.
Talking about the box office collection of Animal, by the end of the 5th day, Ranbir Kapoor’s film had touched the figure of Rs 481 crore with the worldwide collection. Now, according to Sacnilk.com report, as per the initial estimates on the sixth day, the film has earned around Rs 30 crore in India.
Although these are initial estimates, but the news is that Animal has now crossed the Rs 500 mark with worldwide collections. Animal started with a bang and earned Rs 116 crore on the first day itself.
The two-day worldwide collection of the film was Rs 236 crore. The film’s collection reached Rs 356 crore on the third day and Rs 425 crore by the end of the fourth day.
Animal has now become the fastest film to enter the Rs 500 crore club. Although the numbers are fantastic, Animal was unable to break Shahrukh Khan’s Jawan record.
The film, directed by Atlee, crossed the Rs 500 crore mark within four days of its release. Animal clashed with Sam Bahadur at the box office. Vicky Kaushal is in the lead role in Sam Bahadur.
He has played the role of Sam Manekshaw, the first Field Marshal of the Indian Army. Sadly, despite good reviews, Sam Bahadur did not perform well at the box office. As per the initial estimates shared, Sam Bahadur has earned around Rs 3.30 crore at the box office on the sixth day.
Animal’s win is all the more special because Ranbir Kapoor had to face a tough time with his previous releases like Shamshera. Although Tu Jhooti Main Makkar was a hit, Animal is the blockbuster hit they desperately needed.
