Angry Muslim side announced Varanasi bandh today in Gyanvapi complex case, police force deployed at every nook and corner

Angered by the commencement of worship in the basement of Vyas ji located in the Gyanvapi complex of Varanasi, the Muslim side has announced Kashi Bandh on Friday. The Muslim side i.e. Anjuman Intezamia Masjid Committee has appealed to the Muslims to keep their businesses closed peacefully. After this announcement, security arrangements have been increased around Gyanvapi. About 2000 soldiers have been deployed in Gyanvapi and its surrounding areas. Here, the administrative officials continued holding meetings with both the communities till late Thursday night. DCP, ADCP and ACP held meetings in their respective areas. Apart from this, social media is also being monitored. The local intelligence unit is also on alert mode. Amidst high alert, police teams also conducted route marches in different areas on Thursday. The suspects were interrogated and instructed to stay in their homes. Officials have appealed not to pay attention to rumours. Force has also been called from the neighboring district Ghazipur-Chandauli. Shops did not open in Dal Mandi, New Road on Thursday. Most of the people are at home. Police have been deployed at various places as a precautionary measure. Apart from this, surveillance has also been increased in Dashashwamedh, Laksa, Sigra, Lahurabir, Bhelupur, Sonarpura, Godaulia, Chetganj, Jagatganj, Dhupchandi, Adampura, Labor Colony, Maidagin and Machhodari Park areas. Police, PSC, RAF and CRPF have been deployed at every nook and corner.
