It has not been decided yet how much recruitment will be done on which post, but it has been decided that women will be recruited for a total of 53000 posts in all the three categories.
Thousands of posts are vacant due to non-recruitment for a decade
Under the Integrated Child Development Services Scheme, the Uttar Pradesh government will provide an integrated package of health, nutrition and educational services to children up to the age of 6 years, pregnant women and lactating women in the entire state through Ankanwadi centers. Has been There has been no recruitment in the state for a decade. For this reason, there are thousands of Anganwadi centers where there is a shortage of manpower. Somewhere there is no Anganwadi, and somewhere the post of maidservant is going vacant.
Districts started sending the number of vacancies to the directorate
ICDS Directorate has a plan to fill all the vacant posts in UP. Under this, the Directorate had sought information about the vacancies of Anganwadi, Mini Anganwadi and assistants from all the districts of the state. Districts have started sending information on this. The districts which have not yet sent the details of vacancies will also send the details by the last week of April. As soon as these details are received, the Directorate of ICDS will send the file for the approval of Minister Women Welfare, Child Development and Nutrition Baby Rani Maurya.
Notification of appointment may be issued in May
The Yogi government may issue a notification in May for the recruitment of 53000 posts of Anganwadi, Mini Anganwadi and assistants. Such is the claim of departmental sources. With the approval of the departmental minister, the file will be sent for approval of the cabinet. The notification will be issued as soon as the cabinet is approved. This whole process is possible in May next month.
Women will get the benefit of EWS category
Changes have been made in the selection process for the recruitment of Anganwadi, Mini Anganwadi and assistants. Under the new rules, women belonging to economically weaker sections will get the benefit of reservation. That is, the family whose annual income is less than Rs. 8 lakh, if the woman of that family applies for these posts, then she will be considered as EWS category. Seats will be reserved for this category in total posts.
Big change in the rules of selection
The government has changed many rules for recruitment to the posts of Anganwadi. The biggest change has been made regarding the age and educational qualification of the Anganwadi worker. According to the information received from the sources, to apply for Anganwadi worker, the maximum age should be 35 years and educational qualification should be 12th pass. Till now the age limit was 45 years and educational qualification was 10th pass.
