Andhra Pradesh Election 2024: Political parties are busy preparing for the elections. In this series, Congress has decided the names of its candidates for the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections to be held in Andhra Pradesh. The party on Tuesday announced the names of its candidates for six more Lok Sabha seats and 12 assembly seats in Andhra Pradesh. According to the decision of the party’s Central Election Committee, former Tirupati MP C Mohan will contest from this parliamentary constituency and K Raju has been made the candidate from Nellore.
Congress announced the names of the candidates
Congress Organization General Secretary KC Venugopal issued a press release saying that P Satyanarayana Reddy from Visakhapatnam, V Venkatesh from Anakapalle, K Lavanya from Eluru and G Alexander Sudhakar from Narasaraopeta have been made candidates. Let us tell you, on April 2, Congress had announced the names of candidates for five Lok Sabha seats and 114 assembly seats. At the same time, the party has announced the names of 12 candidates for the Lok Sabha as well as the Assembly elections. Let us tell you, there are 175 assembly seats in Andhra Pradesh. Whereas there are 25 Lok Sabha seats. Voting for all seats will take place on May 13. The counting of votes will take place on June 4.
Congress announced candidates for these assembly seats
There are names of 12 candidates in the new list released by Congress Party for Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections. The list includes Killi Kriparani from Tekali seat, Addala Venkata Varma Raju from Bhimali, Vasupalli Santosh from Visakhapatnam South, Lakkaraju Rama Rao from Gajuwaka, Gangadharaswami from Araka Valley (ST), Ruthala Sriramamurthy from Narsipatnam, Sodadasi Martin Luther from Gopalapuram, Yeragonnoapalem (SC). Budhala Ajitha Rao from Parchur, Nalagorla Shiva Srilakshmi Jyothi, Vijeshraj Palaparthy from Santhanuthalapau, Ramesh Babu Deyalla from Gangaohara Nellore and MS Babu from Puthalapattu (SC) have been given tickets.
