Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate Amrit Bharat train based on push-pull technology. Amrit Bharat train will be inaugurated in Ayodhya, but programs will also be held at Darbhanga, Sitamarhi, Raxaul and other stations falling on the route of the train.

Railways has special preparations

Railways has made special preparations for the inauguration program. For this, responsibility has been assigned to officers from the divisional level. Apart from the common people, a large number of public representatives will also participate in the program organized at every station where the train stops. MPs and MLAs will flag off the train.

There will be a total of 24 coaches in this train

This train will have a total of 24 coaches including 11 sleeper class, 9 ordinary class coaches and 2 SLRD coaches. In up and down direction, it will stop at Kamtaul, Janakpur Road, Sitamarhi, Bairagnia, Raxaul, Narkatiaganj, Bagaha, Kaptanganj, Gorakhpur, Basti, Mankapur, Ayodhya Dham, Lucknow, Kanpur Central, Etawah, Tundla and Aligarh stations between Darbhanga and Anand Vihar. Will stop.

Sitamarhi Station Superintendent Surendra Kumar Singh said that after going through Mankapur, Basti, Gorakhpur, Kaptanganj, Bagaha, Narkatiaganj, Raxaul, Bairagnia, Sitamarhi, Janakpur Road, Kamtaul from Ayodhya, it will reach Darbhanga Junction in 12 hours 50 minutes.

This train has been given a stoppage of two minutes at every station. This train will start from Ayodhya via Mankapur, Basti and reach Gorakhpur station at 02:39 pm. After this, via Kaptanganj station, it will reach Bagaha station of Samastipur railway division at 04:38 pm and then Narkatiaganj station at 05:40 pm.

The train will reach Darbhanga Junction at 11:50 pm

After leaving from Narkatiaganj station, the train will reach Raxaul station at 06:42 pm, Bairagnia station at 07:44 pm, Sitamarhi station at 08:46 pm, Janakpur Road station at 09:28 pm, Kamtaul station at 10:10 pm. This train will reach Darbhanga Junction at 11:50 pm.

Regular operations will start from January 1

From January 1, 2024, train no. 15557/15558 Darbhanga-Anand Vihar-Darbhanga Amrit Bharat train will be operated regularly. This train will operate between Darbhanga and Anand Vihar two days a week. It will operate from Darbhanga on Monday and Thursday and from Anand Vihar on Tuesday and Friday.

Will open from Darbhanga at 3 pm

From January 1, train no. 15557 Darbhanga-Anand Vihar Amrit Bharat train will depart from Darbhanga at 15.00 hrs and will reach Anand Vihar at 12.35 hrs, stopping at Ayodhya Dham at 02.30 hrs the next day. On return, train no. 15558 Anand Vihar-Darbhanga Amrit Bharat train will depart from Anand Vihar at 15.10 hrs and will reach Darbhanga at 11.50 hrs, stopping at Ayodhya Dham at 01.10 hrs the next day.

Amrit Bharat train will be printed on tickets

General and sleeper class passengers will travel in Amrit Bharat train. For this, Amrit Bharat will be printed on the ticket. Apart from the base fare, superfast and other fares will also be payable in addition to the prescribed fee. Apart from this, all the rules of Railways will be applicable on that train also. According to the letter issued recently, the general fare from 1 to 15 kilometers will be Rs 35 and the sleeper fare will be Rs 46.

Base fare of Rs 161 for up to 205 kilometers

According to the fare list, for 16 to 20 kilometers, Rs 35 for general passengers and Rs 50 for sleeper passengers. From 201 to 205 km the base fare has been kept at Rs 89 and Rs 161. Different fare amounts have been mentioned for different kilometres. In such a situation, now the passengers are waiting for the inauguration of this train.
