Amitabh had undergone surgery on his wrist earlier this year. In March last year, Amitabh was injured when he was shooting for Kalki 2898 AD in Hyderabad after the harness put pressure on his back, resulting in the actor having to take bed rest. At that time his muscles got torn and his ribs got strained.
