Amidst the political turmoil in Bihar, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Friday took a dig at Bihar CM Nitish Kumar and said that Nitish Kumar’s exit will not have much impact on the opposition alliance. Let us tell you that there has been a stir in politics in Bihar for the last two days after Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar left the India Alliance and rejoined the BJP.
Mamta targets Nitish
While talking to media persons on the sidelines of a program at Raj Bhavan on the occasion of 75th Republic Day, Mamata Banerjee said, “I feel that Nitish Kumar has lost his credibility in the eyes of the people of Bihar. If he resigns, it will be easier for Tejashwi Yadav to work smoothly in Bihar.”
Mamta also targeted the central government
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Friday also warned the Central government for not releasing central funds to the West Bengal government under various centrally-sponsored schemes.
Mamta had earlier announced distance from the alliance
Let us tell you that Mamata was the first to announce her separation from the alliance. His party Trinamool Congress will contest the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in West Bengal alone. He further said that all regional parties will remain united. Along with this, all future decisions will be taken only after the results of Lok Sabha elections are declared.
