He said the Iran-backed militia Kataib Hezbollah and other groups linked to it claimed responsibility for the attack. After which the US President instructed the Pentagon to take retaliatory action. After the attack by militia fighters, the US Army has launched a massive attack on three hideouts of Iraq’s Hezbollah and its related groups. Giving information about the attack on social media, Defense Minister Austin wrote that on the orders of US President Joe Biden, America has attacked three bases of Hezbollah and its affiliated groups in Iraq. In his tweet, he also said that Iran-backed militant organizations had recently attacked American targets in Iraq and Syria. This is a response to that attack.
