Maruti Suzuki Sales Report: The sales report of Maruti Suzuki, one of the country’s top automakers, has arrived. Maruti Suzuki’s wholesale sales increased by seven percent to 1,60,529 units in April. According to the information given by Maruti Suzuki India, the total wholesale sales of the company in April increased by seven percent to 1,60,529 units.

Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) said in a statement that it dispatched 1,50,661 units to dealers in April 2022. The company’s domestic sales increased by nine percent year-on-year to 1,43,558 units in April 2023.

Sales of small cars like Alto and S-Presso declined by 18 per cent year-on-year to 14,110 units. However, sales in the compact segment grew by 27 per cent to 74,935 units, reported PTI. This segment includes vehicles like Swift, Celerio, Ignis, Baleno and Dzire.

MSI said sales of utility vehicles such as Brezza, Grand Vitara and Ertiga grew by eight per cent to 36,754 units. However, exports declined by eight per cent to 16,971 units as compared to 18,413 units in April last year.
