Deoghar Baba Dham: Along with Purushottam month, the effect of Bangla Shravan month is visible in Babanagari. Even now the Kanwariyas continue to come to offer water to Baba. These days mostly Kanwariyas from Nepal and Bengal are reaching Baba Mandir. In the area of Kanwariyas who have come from both the places, according to the Bangla Panchang, there is a law to worship. On the other hand, very less crowd was seen in Baba Mandir since morning. However, arrangements were made for Kanwariyas to enter the temple directly from the overbridge gate located on the banks of Mansarovar. On Thursday, the doors of Baba Mandir opened at around 3:25 am. With the opening of the doors of the temple, the priest removed the Shringar Puja material. After this, offering water from an earthen pot, worshiped Kancha water. In this puja, after offering puja material to Baba, bhog was offered by offering flowers, belpatra etc. After this, started offering water to the common people by offering Argha. SP Subhash Chandra Jat himself was present during the early morning worship in Baba Mandir to see the law and order.
More than 13.24 lakh income from donation boxes
After the start of Sawan, the donation letter of Baba Mandir was opened after seven days. It may be known that before this it was opened on 13th July. Santosh Pandit, under the leadership of Superintendent Co-Dewan Sona Sinha, started opening the donation boxes in the presence of the Magistrate under tight security from 19 donation boxes located in the temple premises. The amount was kept in the administrative building of the temple amidst the security cordon, after which its counting started. After counting, a total income of Rs 13,24,880 was made, in which Nepali rupees 900 and US dollars 20 were received as foreign currency. During this, all the employees were present under the leadership of Sunil Kumar, the assistant in-charge of Baba Mandir.
Helpless Prahlad reached Babadham on Kanwar Yatra
Prahlad Kanwar, a resident of Mirzapur, UP, helpless on his feet, reached Babadham on Thursday. He told that after reaching Babadham on Kanwar Yatra for four years with his wish, he is offering water to Baba. He said that with the wish of not becoming disabled in the next birth, he has come to Babadham after taking water from Sultanganj and reaching Babadham to offer water. He said that he has taken water from Sultanganj on Saturday and will offer water to Baba on Friday morning. Baba fulfills everyone’s wishes, He will do ours too.
Importance of Purushottam month explained in Bhagwat Katha
The seven-day Bhagwat Katha organized by Mahila Vikas Mandal and Satsang Bhavan was organized on Thursday. In the morning Bhagwat Shobha Yatra was taken out from Shree Shyam Kirtan Mandal, which was taken for city tour. Devotees danced and sang along with drums and drums. There, Bhagwat Katha was narrated by Shrihit Kuldeep Krishna Ji Maharaj who came from Vrindavan at 3 pm. On this occasion, importance of Purushottam month was explained. The chief host on this occasion was Shyam Sundar Geeta Bathwal. No entry in the streets around the temple, still running toto
Even in the Malmas fair, the arrogance of the Totowalas continues. There is a gathering of Toto and Auto even after no entry in the streets and square-intersections around Baba Mandir. Pedestrians face a lot of trouble when Toto enters even small streets. The condition around the temple has become very pathetic. Toto drivers are entering the vehicle even in the no entry zone. On Thursday, from Kaikai Dharamshala, Laxmipur Chowk, Chandni Chowk, Shiksha Sabha Chowk to Budhram Sah Lane, Toto was seen walking unabated. Even the fear of police-administration is not troubling them. Pedestrians have to bear the brunt of this. It is also difficult to walk in these places. The situation of jam is being created every half an hour.
