The joint force is trying to surround the Naxalites from all sides, so that the Naxalites can be completely eliminated from the area. During the search operation on Friday, Naxalites also fired from a distance at the police force. Before this, Naxalites also carried out IED blast to harm the soldiers. In response, firing was also done by the police. It has come to light that some Naxalites were injured. However, this has not been officially confirmed by the police officials.
According to information received from police sources, now an all-out fight has started against the remaining Naxalites in the area. The entire operation is being monitored from the police headquarters to the CRPF and STF headquarters. Information about the activities of Naxalites is being collected with the help of Special Branch. The help of Central Intelligence Agency is being taken in this work. It is noteworthy that this joint operation against Naxalites has been started from October 10 in the areas of Kuiya, Chhota Kuiya, Maradiri, Meralgarh, Hathiburu, Tilaybeda Boypaisang, Katamba, Bayhatu, Boroy, Husipi, Rajabasa, Tumbahaka, Regada and Goburu etc. .
NIA takes Naxalite Mon Tiu on remand
Ranchi: NIA has taken Naxalite Mon Tiu on remand in the case of attack on former BJP MLA Gurucharan Nayak in Chaibasa and death of two soldiers in this attack. Now the NIA team will interrogate him about other Naxalites involved in the incident and the incident. According to the information, Mon Tiu is a resident of Katamba Tola of Goilkera police station area. He was arrested by Chaibasa police on August 7, 2023. He was currently lodged in Chaibasa jail. NIA’s investigation about the accused had revealed that he was part of the special team formed to carry out the incident. NIA had sought permission from the court to take the accused on remand in the case. This action has been taken after getting permission from the court.
