All 10 accused including two MLAs acquitted in Siwan murder case

On Saturday, after 11 years, the MPMLA court has given its verdict in the much talked about Chilhamarwa double murder case of Siwan district. In this 2013 case, the court has acquitted all the ten accused including CPI(ML) MLA Satyadev Ram and Amarjeet Kushwaha. 11 years ago, two people were killed and one person was seriously injured in an incident of bombing and firing over a land dispute in Chilhamarwa village of Guthni police station area. While giving the verdict in this case, Narendra Kumar’s court said that the prosecution could not present sufficient evidence against the accused. In such a situation, all the accused are acquitted due to lack of evidence.

Also, the fact that Ghanshyam Mishra, who was said to be injured in the incident, was shot could not be proved in the evidence. In the review of all the witnesses and evidence, due to lack of concrete evidence against the accused regarding the incident, all the ten accused including MLA Satyadev Ram and Amarjeet Kushwaha are acquitted.

It is known that on July 5, 2013, there was a dispute between two parties regarding the occupation of land by erecting a hut in Chilhamarwa village of Guthni police station. There was an incident of firing and bombing regarding this. In which Mukesh Singh, resident of Sohgra, and Raju Singh, son of the then head of Belaur Panchayat Amar Singh, died due to bullet injuries. Whereas Ghanshyam Mishra of Chilhamarwa was injured in the incident. FIR was registered from both sides in this matter.
